WHO IS THIS FOR?

We built this powerful programme for all GCSE English students that are struggling with the below:

Mastering Exam Techniques

Whether you’re losing marks on creative writing or struggling to apply the techniques examiners are looking for, I’ll show you the exact strategies that help students quickly improve their writing using clear, proven methods and targeted practice.

Revision Strategy

Do you feel lost when it comes to revising for English, unsure where to start or what to focus on?

I’ll help you study smarter, not harder, with a personalised revision plan that targets your specific needs and includes everything required to secure a grade 8 or 9.

Missing Language Devices

What holds many students back from succeeding in English is being unable to identify language and structural devices and explain their effects clearly.
I show students exactly how to approach analysis so they can write high-level answers with confidence under exam conditions.

Structure Letting You Down

If you struggle to turn the ideas in your head into clear, exam-style sentences or find it difficult to structure paragraphs for different questions, you’re not alone. I’ll teach you how to plan and build strong answers using simple frameworks that help you meet the exact criteria examiners are looking for.

MY STORY

Why Articulate Minds Tutoring?

Hi, I’m Noah Csillag, a 20 year old Philosophy student at the University of Warwick. I achieved A*AAB in my A levels, with an A* in English Literature and a total mark of 156/160. I also scored all 8s and 9s in my GCSEs across nine different subjects.

I’m not just a university student, I have spent a year working as a member of staff in a top UK grammar school, gaining valuable experience in working with learners in a professional environment. During this time I started my tutoring journey, leading GCSE English support groups, and ensured that all those who struggled with the subject passed the GCSE (see testimonial below).

I bring energy and genuine interest to every lesson, and as someone currently sitting exams myself, I understand the student experience firsthand.

I share practical exam techniques and tips that I use in my own studies to help students succeed.

With Articulate Minds Tutoring, all the hard work has been done for you. All we need from you, is trust and co-operation.

What can I tutor?

GCSE English Language: all exam boards

GCSE English Literature: all exam boards

KS3 English: prep for GCSE

A Level English Literature (preferred texts: Hamlet, Dracula, The Bloody Chamber)

A Level Philosophy (AQA)

HEAR WHAT OUR CLIENTS ARE SAYING

This testimonial is from when I worked at my old school for a full academic year. Although I’m not a qualified teacher, I gained experience working in classrooms and with students by coaching sports, covering lessons, and interacting with students professionally every day.

Zaynab, a year 11 student who I tutored for over 20 hours in the run up to her GCSE English Language exams. Zaynab improved massively in the 2 months or so that I worked with her.

Amr, a student who had previously failed GCSE English Language and so needed around 8 - 12 hours of tutoring in the run up to his re-sits to make sure he was ready.

This is from the mother of Kareem, a year 10 student who I tutored GCSE English Language and English Literature for a total of 12 hours across a 2 month period. This was to prepare him for his mock exams which he needed to perform well in in order to apply for his desired sixth form.

Sophia, an A level Philosophy student who I tutored for a total of around 5 hours in the run up to her exams. This email was sent to me unprompted.
